This project is a journey by bycicle in july 2020, just after the reopening of the border between Germany and France, which had been closed due to the pandemic of Covid-19. The idea of this project was to travel along this part of the border where both countries share the river Rhein and being conscient of this natural and political border which had been closed for several weeks during that time of the pandemic.

I started my trip in Basel, that´s why the border between Germany and Switzerland is also part of the trip, and then cycled up the river Rhein until Germersheim, where I had already left behind the part of the river which makes the border between Germany and France.

Este proyecto es un recorrido en bicicleta en julio de 2020 justamente después de que se volviera a abrir la frontera entre Alemania y Francia después de que la pandemia del Covid-19 había provocado su cierre.

El motivo de este proyecto era recorrer la parte de esta frontera en la que ambos países comparten el rio Rhin con la consciencia de esta frontera natural y política que había estado cerrada por unas semanas en ese momento de la pandemia.

Mi viaje empezó en Basilea, por lo cual la frontera de Alemania con Suiza también entra en el recorrido, e iba subiendo el Rhin hasta Germersheim donde ya había dejado atrás la parte del Rhin que separa Alemania de Francia.
